Caffeinated Conversation: American Red Cross Upstate SC Chapter
Jamie Raichel, Executive Director of the American Red Cross Upstate SC Chapter, takes the podium to start off Caffeinated Conversations for 2023. From providing relief and support to those in crisis, to helping our community be prepared for emergency response, the Red Cross volunteers and staff work to deliver vital services.
Hear also about the upcoming Sound the Alarm event on April 22nd where Red Cross is partnering with local fire departments, County Emergency Management, and government/ corporate/ community partners to canvas at-risk neighborhoods, installing free smoke alarms and providing fire prevention and safety information, including developing a fire escape plan with each family. This is a national initiative and Spartanburg has been chosen as a Signature City, the only one in South Carolina!
