Cristian Balan is a retired U.S. Army Major with more than three decades of service, including 16 years spent
in the information assurance field. A cybersecurity lecturer at SUNY Plattsburg and the coordinator for
the Center of Cybersecurity and Technology. Balan has extensive experience as a consultant to the law enforcement community in system administration, information security, and digital forensics.
