Inclusive leadership is paramount to successful organizations and thriving communities. Please join us for this special event at the Spartanburg County Foundation on Thursday, May 31 from 12:00-1:30. Lunch will be provided and will feature guest speaker, Dr. Nika White. The purpose of this workshop is to facilitate innovation and good decision making at the board level to foster inclusion, as well as to ensure a pipeline and retention of diverse board candidates. In this workshop, participants will understand the essentials of disrupting unconscious bias as a leadership competency. Participants will engage in micro-learning activities and self-reflective guided conversations on topics related to the overall value and management of human difference with emphasis on biases that can hinder relationships and compromise an inclusive culture and organizational performance. Specifically, this experiential learning session helps leaders to understand the power of intentions and ways to model and create the necessary inclusion to elevate organizational excellence by leveraging strategic diversity and intentional inclusion.
