EMERGE: Women in Business 2022 will feature local keynote speakers and growth activities dedicated to helping you and your business perform with growth, intention, and balance.

SPEAKERS

	Gail Sharps Myers, EVP, Chief Legal Officer & Chief People Officer at Denny's Gail currently oversees operations in almost all 50 states and in 14 countries, and approximately 4,000 employees. As a member of the executive leadership team of Denny's, Gail is responsible for all of the company’s legal, people, compliance and government affairs functions. Gail also serves as a Director, Chair of the Compensation Committee and member of the Audit Committee, for AquaBounty Technologies, Inc., a biotechnology company, focused on improving productivity in the commercial aquaculture industry. Over the course of the last 16 years, Gail has led the legal, HR, compliance, enterprise risk management, governance, government affairs and real estate functions. Gail is a frequently sought-after speaker on leadership, strategy, governance and compliance. She is an experienced nonprofit board member, including with the Board of Trustees of the Blumenthal in Charlotte and, formerly, as Chair of the Equal Business Opportunity Commission for Howard County in Columbia, Maryland.
	Molly Cashman, Owner of Blue Moon Specialty Foods & Yep! Shake Molly is a co-owner of Blue Moon Specialty Foods where she partners with her Dad. While he was growing the business at farmers markets and local events, Molly was cutting her teeth in the corporate marketing world. She spent a decade working for top notch companies, including Amazon.com, Wyche Law Firm and Pure Barre – learning everything she could about marketing, business development, finance, customer service and more. After years of being her Dad’s cheerleader from the sidelines, Molly decided it was time to leave the corporate world and take the leap into the entrepreneurship with her Dad. They opened a gourmet food market and restaurant in Spartanburg called Blue Moon Specialty Foods featuring Yep! Shake along with many of her Dad’s other famous recipes. They are currently working on their second location which will house another commercial kitchen and a new retail concept they are calling the Blue Moon Bodega. Molly is the proud wife to her better half, Jeff Cashman, and a busy mom of three kids, two springer spaniels, a cat and some fish.
	Michelle Pearson, District Manager at Senator International Michelle is a 22 year freight forwarding & transportation professional. Having worked in Metropolitan Cities such as Munich, Los Angeles, and Atlanta, relocated to GSP in 2017 to call her home base. As District Manager she has grown the Senator International Gateway Operation with 7 weekly 747F rotations from 5 employees to today 140 staff and counting. As Wife and Mother of three, she has quickly had to learn the value of work/life balance, the lessons from which she transfers to her team.

Importantly, to EMERGE is to both leave something behind and to become something new. In this year's conference, attendees will envision their professional journey, no matter where they are along the path, with help from lessons learned and shared experiences. Keynote speakers will focus on the importance of how to EMERGE. Because it is not just about the destination, but also the Growth, Intent, and Balance along the way.
