Employer Event: Reasonable Accommodations

I hope you will consider joining the Upstate Workforce Board and our partners ABLE SC and SC Vocational Rehabilitation for this informative session on Reasonable Accommodations. This topic can be one of the more misunderstood issues around employing people with disabilities. Accommodations tend to be considered costly or burdensome, even though many employers already provide what would be considered reasonable accommodations and don’t even realize it!

At this training, employers will learn about:
-Different types of accommodations, and how inexpensive they often are
-Their role in the accommodations process
-How to navigate employment laws of the Americans with Disabilities Act
-Resources they can use to further understand accommodations
