To kick off 2017, we will have Naomi Sargent, Director of the College Town Consortium, as our keynote speaker. Focusing on the talent pipeline, Naomi will share the impact of Spartanburg’s seven colleges on the community, and the possibilities that arise when town and gown come together as one. This is both a relevant and important topic as our community assesses and plans for how to retain young talent.

College Town is a not-for-profit consortium of Spartanburg, South Carolina's seven area colleges and universities. By promoting a shared agenda among its colleges and a proactive relationship with area civic organizations and business leaders, each local higher education institution can better serve its students, faculty and staff with experiences and opportunities while also promoting and contributing to the city’s positive growth and image.
