Small businesses significantly impact big businesses. Not only do small businesses often work with large enterprises as vendors, customers, and partners, but also as competitors. In fact, the ingenuity, agility, workplace culture, customer service, and diversity are often rated better at small businesses. What's more, small business growth has a much bigger impact on the local community since their entire operation is local compared to that of a large business who only has a plant or store in the area, with a few notable exceptions.
This month's Power Up Dialogue invites David Britt, Spartanburg County Council District 3, to the table to talk about the business ecosystem in our county. Britt serves as Chairman of the Economic Development Committee and is a member of the Economic Futures Group for Spartanburg County. Britt is also the Vice President and General manager of the SC Division of Tindall Corporation.
