2021 Spring A Taste of Greece To-Go
St. Nicholas Greek Orthodox Church will host the “Spring A Taste of Greece To-Go” event at 697 Asheville Highway in Spartanburg. To maintain social distancing, there will not be onsite dining but orders may be placed online starting Monday, May 3rd and picked up via drive-thru on Friday, May 7th and Saturday, May 8th. Onsite ordering also will be available on those 2 days. Hours for the event are 11:00 AM to 8:00 PM for both days.
The menu is a mini version of the annual Spartanburg Greek Festival held in the fall but still has the delicious favorites such as Souvlaki Platter, Chicken Souvlaki Platter, Souvlaki Sandwich, Chicken Souvlaki Sandwich, Greek Salad with Grilled Chicken as well as Spanakopita (Spinach Pie), Tiropita (Cheese Pie) and Greek Potatoes. And yes, those scrumptious Greek pastries will be available as well! Descriptions of each menu item may be found on the website www.spartanburggreekfestival.com.
St. Nicholas is excited to offer an additional giving opportunity this year. All tips received through the online ordering system will go to the South Carolina School of the Deaf and Blind Foundation. The SCSDB Foundation provides enhanced resources and experiences for South Carolina children who are deaf, blind or sensory multi-disabled that would otherwise not be available through state or federal funding. Please join St. Nicholas in our support of this very worthwhile organization located in Spartanburg County.
