Come be a part of this great opportunity to learn, network and pitch your business at USC Upstate’s The George, 160 East St. John Street conveniently located in downtown Spartanburg.

Startup Weekend is a 50 hour event where attendees pitch ideas, form teams and start companies. Startup Weekends happen all over the world and roughly follow the same model. Anyone can pitch a startup idea on Friday night. All participants vote on their favorite concepts, and people organically form teams based on interest. It all culminates with a pitch event on Sunday evening where judges with experience investing in startups give feedback and pick a winner.

We are community focused and provide a place for budding entrepreneurs to find co-founders, mentors and momentum for their ideas. We have a great team of successful local entrepreneurs and business experts to work with you every step of the way.
