This half-day conference features insightful and engaging sessions led by prominent, successful business women and regional leaders. At this year's event, you'll assess your relevancy, your reputation, your legacy, and take ownership of your personal brand. You'll hear from four dynamic speakers, who'll provide practical insight into building your personal brand. In addition, there will be roundtable discussions with each speaker, along with other professional women, drilling down to the specifics of how you can personally rise and define yourself.

Keynote Speakers:

Hope Blackley-Logan: Recognize Who You Are: How to Build Your Personal Brand  
District Director, Congressman William Timmons
Ms. Hope Blackley-Logan began her professional career with the United Way of the Piedmont, Village Partnership as a preschool teacher. From there, she joined the 7th Circuit Solicitor?s Office as a child victim advocate where she assisted and prepared children for criminal court working under the direction of former solicitor, Trey Gowdy. In 2004, South Carolina Governor Mark Sanford appointed her as the Crime Victims? Ombudsman for the state where she investigated complaints of crime victims against criminal and juvenile justice organizations. In 2010, Ms. Blackley-Logan was appointed Spartanburg County Clerk of Court, where she managed the day-to-day operations of the courthouse and court system, as well as supervised 50 employees. In January 2019, Ms. Blackley-Logan joined Congressman William Timmons office as his District Director.  In this capacity Ms. Blackley-Logan oversees the administrative duties of the Spartanburg and Greenville district offices and staff.
 
Erin Fox: Having the Power of Influence: Working Through Perfectionism and Anxiety
2018 South Carolina Teacher of the Year
Erin Fox is originally from Murphy, North Carolina, and she received her BSED in Secondary English Education from Western Carolina University in Cullowhee, North Carolina.  She earned her master?s degree in Gifted and Talented Education several years later from Converse College in Spartanburg, South Carolina.  Fox was initially hired at Gaffney High School to be an English II teacher. During her seventeen years at Gaffney High she has taught Advanced Drama, Drama I, Introduction to Drama, Theatrical Movement, Academic Assistance, English I, English II, and English III.  She loves the teaching opportunities that exploring literature and English Language Arts provides for her students and herself.  As she works to challenge them, they challenge her as well, and she loves to infuse their work with kinesthetic/tactile lessons and artistic endeavors. 
 
Christina Cody Your Rock Star Status: Emotional Intelligence and Self-Care
Culture of Health Leader, Robert Wood Johnson Foundation
Christina Cody was one of 67 people selected across the nation to participate in this prestigious leadership program advancing health and equity. When Cody learned about the obesity rate throughout South Carolina four years ago, as an anatomy and physiology teacher, she wanted to share it with her students. Little did she know it would spark a movement throughout her school district. Her students were floored by the numbers and soon began brainstorming ways to help solve the issue by educating others. Her efforts have gotten national recognition and have sparked a passion and purpose in students who take on youth engagement leadership roles driving them to address health equity in their communities.

Speed Round Table Discussions:
This fast paced format allows for limited group interaction and conversation for six additional topics! 
The groups have ten minutes total to hear from the presenter and ask questions before being signaled to move on to the next round. This fun, loud, high energy dialogue is sure to be impactful!
