Milliken and Company brought me to Spartanburg in the late 1970s by way of New Your City and Toccoa, Georgia. In 1980, I partnered with what is now Alliance Franchise Brands as a franchisee (Now Allegra Marketing•Print•Mail) and a master franchisee for AFB in the Carolinas and Georgia. In these roles I have been successful because my approach always has been to help franchisees and employees become successfulin their own right.
